The 7 French construction collective agreements
Building trades fall under 4 national agreements (site workers of companies up to 10 employees : IDCC 1596, over 10 employees : IDCC 1597, technicians/ETAM : IDCC 2609, executives : IDCC 2420) and public works under 3 (site workers : IDCC 1702, ETAM : IDCC 2614, executives : IDCC 3212). Each sets its own minima, allowances and guarantees; regional wage scales apply on top. We configure every payslip agreement by agreement.
Site contracts (CDI de chantier), fixed-term and apprenticeships
The French 'CDI de chantier' is an open-ended contract tied to a specific project: ending the project is a valid ground for dismissal, provided the contract is precisely drafted and the full dismissal procedure is followed. We draft and manage the whole administrative cycle, from hiring declaration to final documents.
Site allowances, fully documented
Meal allowances, zone-based travel and transport allowances, long-distance assignments and the sector's specific flat-rate deduction are the first items inspected by URSSAF. We calculate them, and keep the supporting evidence per employee and per site.
URSSAF inspections & holiday-fund audits
Preventive social audits, payslip sample reviews, compliant filings and assistance before, during and after an inspection by URSSAF or by the CIBTP holiday fund.
Why a construction-only specialist
French construction payroll combines mechanisms that exist nowhere else: an external holiday fund (CIBTP/CNETP), a weather-related layoff scheme, zone-based travel allowances, a sector-specific flat-rate deduction and the mandatory BTP identification card. Each has its own body, calendar and supporting documents.
btp-paies.fr is operated by GCFFS (Groupe Conseil Formation Finance & Social), a French payroll and HR-compliance firm. We work exclusively on construction files, no retail, no hospitality, no healthcare.
How pricing is set
Pricing is set after we review your file. What drives it:
- Headcount and how much it varies through the year
- Number of collective agreements and territorial agreements to apply
- Volume of site variables to process each month
- Scope you hand over: payslips only, or payroll plus HR administration
- Condition of the file we take over
